JEANNINE D. LASKY
(Director of Member Services)
Jeannine has been writing music for 30 years. Her songs have appeared on the 2002 Winter Olympics CD Light Up the Land, Power in Purity: Especially for Youth 2007, and various albums by Jesse Clark Funk, Paul Engemann, Alex Boye, Jenny Jordon Frogley, Stephanie Smith, Nashville's "Due West" and other local and Nashville artists. Her songs can also be heard in various feature films, including the ABC Family television movie Everything You Want. Jeannine has been a music supervisor and clearance administrator for several local and 20th Century Fox films and is the owner and president of Gambel Oak Publishing, a local music publishing company. She and co-writer Masa Fukada were the grand prize winners of John Lennon's "Dream Power" song competition and she has received multiple Pearl Awards. Until recently, she served for 10 years as the Salt Lake City regional workshop coordinator for Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). She has served on the FCMA Board of Directors since 2005.

EARL MADSEN
(Director of Media & Public Relations)
Earl is a veteran of the industry, having launched his industry career at Lex de Azevedo's Embryo Music (which became Excel Entertainment), followed by Deseret Book where he worked in product development, project coordination, and marketing. He is now part of the creative force of Inspirational Music Showcase and Sounds of Zion, where he has developed such artists as Rebecca Lopez, David Tinney, Jessie Clark Funk, Barry Hansen, Michael Dowdle, Todd McCabe & April Moriarty Lowry, and new artists One Clear Voice. Earl is an underdog for songwriters and is dedicated to providing opportunities for new writers to be heard. In his FCMA role, he works closely with media contacts to keep them abreast of both our events (such as the Pearl Awards and FCMA Music Workshop) and the current face of faith-centered music.

TODD McCABE
(Director)
Todd is the newest addition to the FCMA Board of Directors. He is a prolific pianist, arranger and songwriter, perhaps best known for his song "Did They Know," which is widely performed as a solo and choral piece during the holidays. It is also the title cut from his debut album. He continues to write songs for this market, most recently for Power in Purity: EFY 2007. He and collaborator April Moriarty Lowry have recorded three volumes of an instrumental album series for piano and violin, entitled My Redeemer Lives (Volume 1: Calvary, Volume 2: Galilee, and Volume 3: Bethlehem). Todd has performed for "Concerts on Temple Square," and Todd and April are the co-producers and lead performers of "An Alpine Christmas," a multi-artist holiday event performed annually in Alpine, Utah. Todd is a recipient of a LDSBA Listener's Choice Award and finalist for a number of distinguished Pearl Awards.

STACI PETERS
(Board Chair)
Staci has been serving on the board since the inception of the FCMA in 1997. She has been working in the faith-centered music community for the past 15 years as a songwriter, record and concert producer, publisher, director of artist development and A&R consultant to BWE Music and Deseret Book/Shadow Mountain Music Group. She is the co-creator of the album series Women of Destiny and co-producer of five Especially For Youth albums. Her songwriting credits include recordings by Jericho Road, Donny Osmond, Gladys Knight, and country superstar Martina McBride. She remains active in our market as a songwriter and producer.

TAMMY SIMISTER ROBINSON
(Director of Community Service)
Tammy joined the Board of Directors in 2005. She has been writing and recording music in our market for nearly 20 years with credits on albums produced by Prime Recordings, Excel Entertainment, Deseret Book/Shadow Mountain, the LDS Church Educational System, and various others. Her second solo album "The Color of Hope" was named Inspirational Album of the Year by the FCMA. Her inspiring song "May I Serve Thee" earned the Award of Distinction in the Relief Society Song Contest and was broadcast worldwide at the 1998 and 2002 annual LDS General Women's Conferences. Tammy leads the service efforts of the FCMA.

JEFF SIMPSON
(Founding Director/Director of Administration)
Jeff founded the Faith Centered Music Association in 1997 and continued as its Managing Director until 2005. He remains on the board as the Director of Administration. Jeff is the former chairman and CEO of Excel Entertainment Group, Inc., where he shepherded several record labels, Excel Retail Distribution (a media distributor for music, video, software and books) and a motion picture division responsible for the independent promotion of grass roots hits like God's Army. Prior to his work in this market, his film industry career included stints at Disney Studios, Network Television Group, Touchstone Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures, Hollywood Pictures and Buena Vista Pictures. His film expertise was a point of inspiration at the outset of the FCMA, when the first annual Pearl Awards were conceived for television broadcast. Jeff produced and directed seven telecasts of the Pearl Awards between1998-2004. Since the merger of Excel Entertainment Group with Deseret Book in 2005, Jeff has served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Deseret Book.

RON SIMPSON
(Director of Education)
Ron has served on the FCMA Board of Directors since 2003, bringing a range of industry experience few can match, having made significant contributions in the roles of studio musician, arranger, songwriter, publisher, studio owner, record producer, copyrights and licensing administrator, agent, professional manager, and label head. He is the author of Mastering the Music Business and various guest editorials for Billboard and American Songwriter magazines, and is a columnist for Meridian Magazine. Ron has received multiple music industry honors for his work with the Diamond Rio hit song "Norma Jean Riley." He received Brigham Young University's Creative Works Award in 1999 for his work with Tantara Records (the label he helped organized) and the FCMA Legacy Award for career achievement in 2006. He presently serves as general manger of Tantara Records and oversees the Media Music area of the BYU School of Music.
