The FCMA Music Workshop is co-sponsored by the Media Music Division of BYU's School of Music and Tantara Records and is held each fall in conjunction with BYU's Media Music Week. This year's workshop will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007. Session and presenter information will be available in early November.

The workshop provides opportunities for promising new artists to perform, receive feedback, attend educational sessions and meet veterans in the music industry. FCMA Director of Education Ron Simpson calls the event "a jumping off point for many people who end up in the music business in New York or even Nashville."

Registration is free to FCMA members and full time students; others may register for a small fee. Details will be posted here when registration opens or you may contact the Media Music office at MediaMusic@byu.edu after November 1st.
